Audatex are a global provider of integrated claims solutions and approached us with a brief to maximise their attendance at the BodyShop Magazine Trade Event and Awards ceremony. The event was at Celtic Manor and is in its 18th year. It is one of the highlights of the industry calendar; attracting some big names in bodyshops, insurers and vehicle manufacturers. Our client wanted to showcase their presence and maximise their attendance at the event, with the chance to push brand awareness to over 1,000 delegates.

The main part of this brief was create some truly memorable activities in an industry that isn't the most exciting. We were set a 'nothing is impossible' view from the client and they were determined to make an impact with their stand in the exhibition hall as well as raise their profile amongst peers, alter brand perceptions and make an impression.  Starting with the stand itself, we decided to re-create a garage complete with half a car built into the stand complete with under lighters and smoke machines to really create a statement for passers by. As well as this we also created branded giveaways, shoe bags and handouts so that delegates had something physical to takeaway from the show.

Outside of the stand build, we came up with various ideas regarding how we could create lasting memories of Audatex whilst at the show. To achieve this we setup free classic car rides from a private space behind the conference area. We secured 4 branded classic cars including a 64 Herbie Beetle, 72 MG, Porsche 91 I Targa and an AC Cobra.

We also had a flash mob dance troupe break into sporadic dance during the exhibition. The dancers were dressed as business people who were mingling with the other delegates to create the element of surprise when the music started. We had twenty dancers collectively break into a routine as the music began, ripping their business dress off to reveal Audatex branded t-shirts underneath as they performed in front of the stand. This was a real draw for Audatex, creating a buzz around the show and left everyone talking about the client.

In the evening at the awards show, we topped off their exposure with a fire dance routine for all the delegates, again staged by Audatex to create more awareness of the brand.

The experiential activity left the delegates buzzing about Audatex, with people talking about the dancers long into the night. Overall the show was a huge success, with our client achieving all their goals. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Audatex in the future.
