Just freshly back from a FAM Trip with Sandals Resorts down to the Bahamas. I thought I would say a few words about this amazing trip. The first word is WOW! From the moment we met up, you knew the trip was going to be special, especially with the deadly duo that is Graeme Saunders & Paul Tidy looking after us. The flight over went really quick before we got our first big surprise – we got picked up at Nassau airport by 4 gleaming Rolls Royce cars. Unbelievable! Talk about arriving in style! Upon getting to our first hotel, the fab Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort – we were soon in the pool before heading off by boat to their exclusive island for dinner – wow! The next day was spent having a really good show around of the Sandals resort’s excellent conference facilities and many different types of bedrooms (some come with a private butler service!!), and then onto a tour of some of the island’s cultural landmarks. Nassau really is an island with a great vibe – there’s something for everyone here. It would be perfect for an incentive group who might be looking for a more detailed itinerary of things to do, as there are masses of options here.

The next two days were spent at Sandals Emerald Bay Golf Tennis & Spa Resort on the beautiful island of Exuma, which was a short 40 minute flight over from Nassau. This island has the most amazing water and beaches I’ve ever seen. The pace of this resort was a lot more relaxing and would be perfect for an incentive group who were looking to get away from it all with a place to chill in pure luxury. As with all Sandals Resorts, it is totally all-inclusive and you can get all their meals, drinks and cocktails anytime you want. Amazing. Whilst here we played golf, went for a sunrise swim in the unbelievably warm sea before going on a boat trip were we swam with pigs, fed some Iguanas, snorkelled with exotic fish and enjoyed some amazing islands with breath-taking views.

All in all it was 5 days to remember and I would truly recommend Sandals for your incentive groups or conferences that are looking to have that wow factor. These two venues literally blew me away on every level. The scenery, the properties, the amenities, the service…everything!
